Description
For Auction 1969 R Code 428 Super Cobra Jet car with a factory drag pack. This car is believed to have been a special order car, it was scheduled, built, and released all on the same day. This is a very nice middle to low # 2 car, it is a nice driver. This a power steering, power brake car. It does have a SCJ motor in it that was just rebuilt. The motor has 10 miles on the rebuild. I have pictures of the lemans rods, crank number 1UA, little hatchet weight and so on to verify the SCJ. The car also has a correct RUG-AE2 4 speed in it as well. Big in Big out 4 speed. This car is missing the oil cooler. I have never had the rear end apart, I am assuming the way it drives it is 3.91 gears, it has a locker in the rear as well. The car has been repainted in that last couple of years, not a perfect paint job but probably a 7 or a low 8 of 10. It has had the quarters repalced. The car does have the factory 428 shaker, no snorkel any more. I do have the trim ring for the shaker, just not on the car now. There are some imperfections around the shaker opening in the hood, because someone replaced the shaker with a CJ hood scoop. I can fix the Hood for you very reasonable, if the winning bidder so requests. The motor has a 427 side winder intake, and it sets the carb off to the side about 3/4 of an inch...causing the shaker to set off set as well. The motor runs very strong. The interior is very nice, the factory tach is still with the car. It is not hooked up at this time, the car has MSD ignition, and it will burn the factory tach up. I had an after market tach in the car, that I removed so the car looked more original. The winning bidder can have if they want it. We will take Mustangs from 65-70 other years and cars may be considered. We will take completely torn apart projects or drivers. I have a perfect rating on ebay so if someone buys one of my cars and they think I mislead them I will give them a refund on their down payment if they come and look at the car before it gets delivered.
